Reservoir is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. Found within the Local Government Area of the City of Darebin, Reservoir is a well-established suburb with a population of over 50,000 residents. Reservoir is primarily a residential suburb, comprising a mixture of older brick homes and newer, more contemporary developments. First officially established in the 1920s, despite having been a populated area for some time, its name finds its roots in three water reservoirs found within the area, which still exist to this day, forming part of the system supplying fresh water to Melbourne.
