South Australia (SA) is a state in the southern central part of Australia bordered by VIC to the east, WA to the west, and NT to the north. It covers some of the most arid parts of the country. With a total land area of 983,482 square kilometres, it is the fourth largest of Australia's states and territories by area, and fifth-largest by population. Its capital Adelaide on the Torrens River has a much slower pace than Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane and is known as the city of churches. The churches are prominent almost everywhere you go showing early settlement architecture and stonework. Adelaide is also known as the festival city, of which there are many throughout the year.

Property Outlook
Adelaide’s house price increases have been 17.9% over the past twelve months to 1 September 2021. However, at a median value of just $522,000, Adelaide property is much less expensive than almost all other capital cities. That combined with low stock levels, low interest rates, and digital nomads wanting to work from home (or anywhere) indicates that Adelaide, and regional SA, are likely to be the standout property performers come 2022.
