Hurstville is a large suburb in Southern Sydney, New South Wales, in the Local Government Area of Georges River Council – of which it is the administrative centre. Hurstville has just under 30,000 residents, and is a major suburb for commerce and dining, with 2 major shopping centres and a multitude of restaurants, cafes and other eateries. Hurtsville has a number of schools and places of worship. It is a culturally rich and multi-ethnic suburb, with a large Chinese community, which is reflected in the local cuisine and way of life. The suburb also contains a museum and a number of historic buildings.

Hurstville is just 16 kilometres from the central business district of Sydney, and is itself a local economic hub. It is serviced by Hurstville railway station, a major station on the Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line, and is just 20 minutes from the heart of Sydney by rail. The A3 highway also cuts through the centre, providing excellent connections by road. As a well-established suburb and a centre of the retail and hospitality industries, it is a conveniently located, sought-after suburb and an excellent place to own property.
